  • CDC Reopening Guidelines - The CDC encourages continued disease prevention efforts, but also recommends taking a specific three-step reopening approach to reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure.
    • Develop a flexible, compliant cleaning plan. Determine what needs to be cleaned and disinfected and what resources and equipment is required to get the job done.
    • Implement your plan safely and thoroughly. Clean visibly dirty surfaces choose the proper cleaning products and follow safe product use instructions.
    • Maintain and revise your plan. Continue regular cleaning and disinfection, practice healthy hygiene and observe social distancing at your facility

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) has announced that it will pursue approval from its Board on Tuesday, June 9 to allow all types of 501(c) non-profit organizations to apply for funding under the second phase of the Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program. June 2- APPLICATIONS FOR $45 MILLION NJEDA GRANT PROGRAM TO OPEN JUNE 9

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) today announced that applications for the expanded Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program will be available at 9:00 a.m. on June 9, 2020 in both English and Spanish. The $45 million program will provide grants up to $10,000 to small businesses impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. Murphy today issued an executive order that shuts down all non-essential retail businesses in the state as of 9 p.m., orders residents to stay at home (again, with limited exceptions, such as to obtain food), and forbids even private gatherings or parties – all historically unprecedented moves aimed at hopefully slowing person-to-person transmission of the virus.

March 19 - SBA FEDERAL DISASTER LOANS NOW AVAILABLE

​Yesterday evening, the U.S. Small Business Administration approved Governor Murphy’s application for assistance and will now offer low-interest federal disaster loans for working capital up to $2 million to New Jersey small businesses suffering substantial economic injury as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

 
Applicants may apply online, receive additional disaster assistance information, and download applications at: https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.
 
Applicants may also call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov for more information on SBA disaster assistance.

The State of New Jersey has established a special website devoted to business concerns during the coronavirus emergency.


The site, cv.business.nj.gov, will be updated as new information becomes available.

In addition, the New Jersey Business Action Center’s Helpline is now available from 8:00 am – 9:00 pm, seven days a week.

Call 1-800-JERSEY-7 to address any concerns you or your employees have.
